The Davidoff Maduro Limited Release is a successor to the Davidoff Maduro from 2008 with an adapted blend. This new blend offers a more balanced and nuanced flavour profile designed for experienced aficionados.

The Davidoff Maduro Limited Release refines and redefines what a Maduro is and what a Maduro can be. The blend uses a dark Ecuadorian wrapper. It is picked from Corte #7, the highest grade of the tobacco plant used by Davidoff. Sixteen months of fermentation are required to reveal most of the sweet notes. The tobacco rests and ages for two years to further develop its aroma. Resulting in a truly beautiful cigar which is sweeter, more sophisticated and, most importantly, carries more flavour.

The Davidoff Maduro comes in three popular formats: the largest format is Toro, followed by a Robusto, and the smaller Short Corona for when time is limited.

TASTING NOTES:

1/3 – The start of the Maduro is characterized by a dominating sweetness, which is heralded by deep notes of dark chocolate and an overarching creaminess. Hints of nuts and dried fruits conclude the first third.

2/3 – Sweet flavours of honey take over in the second third of the cigar. Complementing but never overpowering notes of oak wood make an appearance, all underpinned by the continued creaminess.

3/3 – The previously prevalent sweetness makes way for a spicier stimulation. Dominating notes of roasted nuts and aromas of earth and white pepper add excitement and conclude this entertaining taste experience.
