For the first time, Davidoff releases a “Year of” limited-edition cigar that is not only part of the 25 Masterpiece humidors but are also released as a special edition for the Davidoff flagship stores in boxes of 24 cigars: The Davidoff Flagship Exclusive 2023.

The imposing gran toro delights with the same tobacco varieties as the Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition 2023 perfecto cigar. Thanks to its format and ring gauge, the gran toro cigar creates a taste experience that comes across as slightly smoother and more elegant. This cigar is the perfect gift for any true connoisseur or collector.

The Flagship Exclusive cigars come in an eye-catching box in the Year of the Rabbit design. The lid tastefully displays the Year of the Rabbit icon, and the Year of the Rabbit pattern imitating a rabbit’s gentle and steady hops on the outside and inside. Upon opening, aficionados will find four trays with six cigars each stacked on top of one another.

A looped fabric handle inside the box connects the trays with one another. Their structure and length are reminiscent of a rabbit’s ears.

Limited to 600 boxes worldwide.

TASTING NOTES –

1/3 – The imposing Gran Toro’s 56 ring gauge initiates an elegant and smooth experience where cream is the most dominant flavour. Additional notes of pepper and roasted nuts round off the first third.

2/3 – Over the course of the cigar, leathery aromas hit the palate, followed by caramel and notes of coffee. The mature filler tobaccos create a well-balanced yet complex combination of flavours.

3/3 – The impressive complexity of flavours slightly increases in the last third with an additional cacao sweetness followed by cedar wood and fresh spices. A masterpiece of undiscovered pleasures.
