Grown in Corte #7 at the crown of the plant, the highest leaf grade used by Davidoff, the leaf receives a lot of sunshine and therefore has a robust structure. In order to ferment this leaf properly, Davidoff doubled the fermentation period to 16 months and invested a further 2 years in the ageing process. This allows the leaf to develop its full aroma potential and its sweet taste.

The Davidoff Maduro line offers a full-bodied taste experience of medium intensity. Composed of tobaccos from Ecuador, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, this blend presents a stimulation typical for a true Maduro cigar. Especially the remarkable influence of the Ecuadorian wrapper makes for a sweet and creamy experience and a sophisticated cigar with notes of dark chocolate, honey and roasted nuts.

What makes the Signature, Grand Cru, Aniversario and Millennium lines so different is the fact that they are all blended out of the same three main tobaccos (Olor Dominicano, Dominican San Vicente and Dominican Piloto) that were picked at different grades and also appear in different ratios in the blends.
This means each line delivers its own unique intense combination of aromas. A commonality is that they all stimulate all areas of the palate evenly.
