Ten years ago, to the delight of aficionados everywhere, the very first iconic, exotic Escurio cigar took to the stage. A cigar with a rhythm all its own. Now we have revitalised that blend as only we could. Taking aged Brazilian tobacco found nowhere else on the planet and interweaving it with the mellow notes of our signature creaminess.

Brazilian spiciness meets Dominican creaminess
The limited gran toro cigar combines tobaccos from the Brazilian Bahia region and the Dominican Republic.
The rare Brazilian tobaccos showcase the region's uniqueness: Bahia is characterised by a humid and salty environment due to its proximity to the sea. This in addition to harsher and irregular rainfall yields tobacco that is more robust and spicy in taste.
In contrast, the Dominican tobaccos add a signature smoothness and creaminess, cultivated in regions with consistent and controlled fresh water and balanced weather.
AGED TO PERFECTION: A FULL-BODIED TASTE EXPERIENCE
The gran toro's wrapper, binder and filler tobaccos in the blend were aged for a combined 45 years. In addition, one of the Dominican filler tobaccos was fermented in a bourbon cask, which adds sweetness and extra depth to the cigar.
Together, the tobaccos create a dynamic play of taste, which is enhanced by the bigger 56 ring gauge of the gran toro – this allows the Brazilian and Dominican filler tobaccos to take centre stage.

VANILLA MEETS CAPPUCCINO NOTES
The choice of bourbon adds a smooth, slightly sweeter note to the cocktail, which pairs perfectly with the cigar’s flavours of leather and bittersweet chocolate. Additional notes of vanilla from the bourbon whiskey and the bourbon cask aged tobacco round off the experience.
VIRGIN CIGAR PAIRING WITH A COLD FASHIONED
A SAMBA OF VANILLA AND CAPPUCCINO
This non-alcoholic drink combines cold brew coffee with simple syrup and orange bitters, served over ice and garnished with an orange slice. The cigar's initial cappuccino notes are a perfect match for the Cold Fashioned.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Davidoff’s Escurio line through pioneering and visionary craftsmanship: only Davidoff is able to create a blend using Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos with a total age of 45 years thanks to its large inventory. The limited-edition cigar, with one Dominican filler tobacco aged in whisky casks, provides sweet vanilla flavours, complementing the spicy Brazilian tobaccos.
